About Us

The Bal Vihar Children Home is an initiative of Sadhu Sunder Singh Welfare Society founded by Baba John Dayal in 1994 and it has 25 years of experience in providing quality care to disadvantaged children. At present we are having 40 girl children who are being provided residential, academic, vocational, medical and entertainment facilities required for their development. 

We believe that as a society we need to follow a proactive approach, not be laid back and wait for government to do everything. The individuals themselves should take action. Taking inspiration from his legacy the home continues to work for the empowerment of children. Today it is well aligned with all the processes of JJ Act.

“About Our Director”

Wg. Cdr. K. L. Kapoor (Retd.): He retired from Indian Air Force after 25 years of satisfactory services. He participated in 1971 war and was awarded POORVI & PASCHIMI War medals. He has taken of the responsibilities of organization as honorary Director and brought out many improvements, including financial transparency.
